"Here is nobility without conceit,
Friendship without envy,
Beauty without vanity,
A willing servant, yet no slave.
There is nothing so powerful, nothing less violent,
there is nothing so quick, nothing less patient."

-Randal Duncan

Silverado
1999 KWPN Gelding by Kelvin

A beautifully elegant and talented young horse, Silverado is one of my most dear horses.  Having purchased him at three years old, I have had the pleasure of training and competing him from the very beginning.  With both tremendous heart and incomparable intelligence, Silverado has earned a place of respect in both the stable and the dressage world.  Having earned numerous prestigious awards, Silverado is proving himself to be a successful competitor at both the regional and national levels.  Possessing beauty, elegance and a fierce determination, Silverado embodies all that is dressage.  I truly hope to share a great many years as a partner to this wonderful horse.

Sinatra Soleil
2011 Hanoverian Colt by Sinatra Song

Soleil is the newest addition to Expressions Dressage and my horsey 'family'.  I purchased this wonderful youngster in-utero when he was just a four-month-old embryo.  He has all the top Hanoverian bloodlines including Federweisser, Feiner Graf, Werther, Welfin, Weltruhm and the great Weltmeyer.  In addition, his sire is a son of the spectacular stallion, Sandro Hit.  His bloodlines alone gave me confidence in his quality even before he was born and I couldn't be happier, he is a lovely colt with an incredible temperament.  I am very, very excited about this youngster.

Scooter
1976 Mixed Breed Pony Gelding

There are few horses that can compare to the kind, gentle, trustworthiness of Scooter.  Over his 35 years he has taught numerous children to ride with an endless patience that can only be found in the very best of children's ponies.  He has been dressed up, braided, bathed and fussed over by little girls for most of his life and has always remained sweet and wonderful.

Scooter has led a one of the fullest lives a horse can lead and is now happily retired at my house where he spends his days nickering for treats and giving pony-rides to the neighbor kids.  He is one-of-a-kind and has been the influence that has made Expressions Dressage what it is today.  We all love Scooter.

Cooper
1999 Thoroughbred Gelding

Cooper is a new addition to Expressions Dressage.  He spent most of his younger years on the racetrack running over 60 races and earning over $60,000.  After retiring from racing he moved from several homes until joining us here at Expressions Dressage.  Cooper is one of the happiest and most cheerful horses I have ever met and he is very quiet and kind under saddle.  He has exprerience as a lesson horse so the plan is to progress his training more specifically for dressage so I can offer him as a lower-level schoolmaster for students wishing to ride a lesson horse.  It is my hope that he will be a valuable addition to my growing lesson program.
